I noticed that Heilung’s newest design seems inspired by the design on the Nordic Animist Calendar by Dr. Rune Hjarnø Rasmussen, who spent years of professional research on this calendar and which I recommend with all my heart.

Dr. Hjarnø is a scholar who who did several years of research to understand luni-solar reckoning, leap days, leap weeks, leap months, metonic cycles, auni cycle, octaeteteris, prim staff, several month naming systems and a huge batch of seasonal folklore – then tried to explain it through this wonderful calendar.
